Flip That Lens is a nice short guide book written by Tiffany Dow that teaches you how to prep a lens for sale, then how to eventually sell it.

Tiffany Dow is also the author of ‘Social Networking on Squidoo‘, one of the other guides I have reviewed here. She really knows her stuff.

FlipThatLens will take you through setting up your lens, what modules to use, how to get everything correctly in place, and how to sell it for big bucks. It is almost like a quicker and smaller version of Social Networking on Squidoo, so if you are the kind of person who just needs a nudge in the right direction, instead of a lot more indepth how-to stuff, then this guide will set you up on Squidoo pretty quickly.

Learning to set up a lens for eventual sale will help you even if you don’t plan to sell your lenses, because what you are taught in this guide is how to get a lens built quickly and correctly and to bring a lot of value to your lens.

This isn’t an expensive guide either. Super cheap. It’s like a quick bullet shot to pull you up to speed with everything you need to know to get your lenses looking great, converting well, and earning money.

The Summary:

This was the first Squidoo guidebook to be written. The author, Tiffany Dow, has put together a jam-packed book that promises to guide you through making a lens from start to finish.

What’s Great:

Tiffany calls it a ‘soup to nuts’ guide book, and she delivers on her promise.

Tiffany is a great writer, and explains things really clearly with lots of screenshots and helpful tips.

It is one of the most comprehensive Squidoo guide books and you’ll feel like a Squidoo Pro yourself when you finish working your way through it.

Plus, Tiffany provides lifetime updates of the book. So you will be kept on top of new changes in the Squidoo landscape.

What’s Missing:

With all of Tiff’s writing talent (she used to be a top highly paid ghostwriter to online gurus) there isn’t a whole lot in the book about how to go about writing a review of a product, etc. I know it’s not technically required in a guide book about Squidoo, but it would have been nice I guess. The funny thing is I know Tiffany will probably add this section in her next book update!
